The Latest Chapter

Every story has different chapters. Every chapter has a beginning. This is my story. This is the beginning of my next chapter.

The chapter that I've just finished includes a Master's degree and living in the same city for seven years. It includes growing to love a city, a school, and a whole bunch of college students. It includes making some new best friends, an ugly break up and a lot of Alabama football (which, by default means winning). It had its ups and downs, but overall I'm a much better person for having lived that chapter of my life to the fullest. I've never been one to do something half hearted, and I'm grateful that I didn't leave anything on the field, as they say.

The chapter I'm beginning includes a new job, a new city and a whole lot of unknown. I've decided to move out West. I'm going to the Portland, OR area, Vancouver, WA to be exact. For all of my southern friends, where I'll be living is just a hop skip and a jump from Portland. It's separated by a river. Think: Tuscaloosa vs. North Port. This new chapter is something that excites me and terrifies my parents. It is something that I think it going to be an amazing adventure and I can't wait to see where God takes me.

I'll be working in the financial industry, and for those of you who know me well, that, in and of itself is quite laughable. Luckily, I won't be dealing with anyone's money, I'll only be convincing people that my company is the best. The good thing for me is that I've been told I could sell ice to eskimos.

This little corner of the internet is where I plan to share pictures. It is where I plan to update my people on my life. Because, lets face it, I don't ever want to become that person on Facebook. So, come along on this little journey of mine. Who knows where I'll end up!
